In which I tidy up (a bit) …

Passing the 21,000 views milestone prompted me to think about having a tidy up of the site. When I started I didn’t anticipate the interest or how much useful stuff for job hunting and dealing with redundancy would begin to come my way.

So far it has been a bit tricky to find material and links on the Resources or Village Square pages. So I have spent some time looking at some of the ‘blogmasters’ out there and shamelessly pinched what they have done.

In particular I have now set up links under a small number of categories to help visitors find what they’re looking for.

These are:

Blogs written by people who know their onions – folks whose knowledge and views I respect even if I don’t always agree with what they say.

Job hunting – links to material I have found useful so far including jobs pages, consultancies and HR recruitment specialists.

Odds and sods – this is stuff that I think deserves a look if only to cheer you up (so it’s not always job hunting or redundancy related).

There’s a couple of other things I’m working on to make the site more useful. So watch out for those.

In the meantime thank you all for visiting, commenting and being there. If there’s anything that you come across that should be in the links section let me know at redundantps@gmail.com.

Have a great rest of the weekend. I’m off to plot about next week.

Best wishes
